Thermal Imaging can be used to detect air leakage/heat loss around doors, windows, walls, floors and penetrations in the building envelope. Some air exchange is necessary, however, most buildings have too much air leakage, which can lead to moisture problems, unnecessarily high heating costs, and an uncomfortable, drafty home.
An Air Leakage Thermal Assessment includes a comprehensive report on the deficiencies identified during the inspection, as well as prioritized energy efficiency retrofits. Copies of the relevant thermal images are embedded in the report for your reference.
