Cost For Home Energy Assessements

The application for LiveSmart BC incentives includes two home energy assessment by a Certified Energy Advisor - one before you renovate and one after.

Step One: First Home Energy Assessment - $150 plus GST
This reduced cost is subsidized by LiveSmart BC.

Step Two: Complete Your Choice of Home Upgrades

Step Three: Second Home Energy Assessment - $150 plus GST

Exceptions

To help us serve you better, please be sure to let us know if your home fits one of the specialty categories listed below. If yes, an additional charge may apply:

• A home with legal suites that are inaccessible from the main home and are not connected to the home by air/heat ducts.
• A home over 4,000 square feet
• A home requiring a follow up assessment whose first assessment City Green did not conduct.
• Ineligible homes
  NOTE: Please do not start your upgrades until after your initial home energy assessment. Any upgrades started before your initial assessment will not be eligible for grants.

Cancellation Policy

Please call the office at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit if you need to change or cancel this appointment. Otherwise, a $50 change fee will be charged.
