Ground or Water Source Heat Pump

coil You can access LiveSmart BC grants for geothermal and other ground or water source heat pump systems. A water or ground-source heat pump can reduce your heating and cooling costs by 65%. (1)

A ground or water source heat pump, also known as an earth-energy system (EES), uses the earth and/or ground water as a source of heat in the winter, and as a "sink" for heat from the home in the summer.
