Sustainable Saanich and Saanich Heritage are presenting two free talks this September 2011. Come to lectures at Saanich Municipal Hall, 770 Vernon Ave., on Saturday, September 10, 2011 starting at 10:00 am. A light lunch will be provided.
The first presentation highlights the opportunities for an owner who wishes to improve the energy efficiency of their heritage or older home and how thermal imaging technology can help. Our second presentation will be given by heritage expert Nick Russell, PhD, who will talk about interesting stories of our community’s past as shown through our heritage buildings.
