Bring It Home 4 The Climate Program

2019-2022

The Bring It Home 4 Climate Program was a collaborative effort between City Green Solutions and local municipalities in the capital region and City of Vancouver to develop and test enhanced supports for homeowners completing upgrades.  It sought to answer the question of how can we reduce barriers for residents completing upgrades?  The initiative centered around innovative Virtual Home Energy Check-Ups and included a resource library, testimonials, presentations, and workshops.

Over the course of the program, 359 participants were supported and 101 EnerGuide Home Evaluations were issued.  The program was well received with 85% of participants indicating they would recommend the program and 91% of participants indicating they would recommend the Virtual Home Energy Check-Up specifically.
