City's, BC Hydro's Energy Challenge heating up among local families
The Power Down Campbell River home energy video challenge has five families fighting to lower their energy bills and capture the funniest video footage during their energy conservation journey. Saving Money and Taking Action, Tap by Tap The Tap by Tap Program, first piloted in 2011, is targeting bathroom and kitchen retrofits in 3,000 residential units across the capital region to save a projected 72,000,0000 litres of potable water and nearly 500 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually. LiveSmart BC program extended for one year In partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC, the Province of British Columbia is extending the popular LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program, which gives homeowners up to $3,500 in rebates for energy saving improvements to their homes. | Featured Energy Services
